This web site has
been created to help people explore the possibility that the lifestyle
known as D/s (Dominance and submission) and the
sexual activities called BDSM (Bondage and Discipline/Dominance and
Submission/Sadomasochism) may be compatible with a Christian
lifestyle, when practiced consensually within the bonds of marriage.
You may not
agree with our
lifestyle. We believe this is because you may have certain
preconceptions about D/s or BDSM. We feel that these preconceptions are
tainted by the secular media and entertainment industry, especially
concerning D/s. We believe that, if practiced within a Biblical
context, the D/s relationship is closer to the Biblical model for
marriage than the one taught by most churches today. Understand that we
base our beliefs solely on our understanding of the Bible and not on
the opinions of individuals or on societal norms.
We believe you
have a right to
disagree with us. We welcome your questions or comments. You may e-mail
us. However, we strongly believe that all people have the right to
enjoy the blessings of religious freedom without being subject to
personal attacks. If you are going to state that our beliefs are wrong,
do so in a respectful manner, take on our beliefs and not us
personally, and provide Scripture references to back up your beliefs.
